Appraisal Associates, Inc. is located in Mitchell, South Dakota. We have nearly 10 years of experience completing appraisals throughout southeastern South Dakota.

We are licensed as a Certified General Appraiser in South Dakota with the ability to obtain permits in other states.

We specialize in agricultural appraisals for financing, estate settlement, estate planning, and personal interest.

About Us

Appraisal Associates, Inc.

Jeral has had various professional careers with real estate being the connecting link to them all.

Jeral Gross is a native of Bridgewater, South Dakota, and has been part of the agricultural community all his life. He is a graduate of Bridgewater High School and Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, with a B. A. degree in Business Administration. Prior to pursuing a career as an appraiser in 2014, he was in the banking industry as an Agricultural and Commercial lender for over fifteen years. He also managed and is currently part owner of a title insurance company in eastern South Dakota.

Jeral has been completing appraisals for agricultural properties including improved and unimproved land, ranches, feedlots, and some commercial properties throughout South Dakota since 2015.

Jeral is an active member of American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) and Professional Appraisers Association of South Dakota (PAASD).

Jeral enjoys spending time with his wife, Andrea, their two daughters, working on the family farm, golfing, and is involved in ministries at their church.
